Located in New York's Meatpacking District, Jean Shop opened its doors in April 2003 and has since become the insider's choice for premium selvage denim. Eric Goldstein, one of the three owners, does almost all of the washing, dyeing and finishing himself in the back of the store. Though known for their custom finishes, Mr. Goldstein stresses that raw, untreated denim is the way to go these days.
