Our Denim:
Glory Utility Jeans are made in Los Angeles using the finest denims
available. We run a quality control program that makes the sewers hate
us and the fashion companies feel embarrassed. Our patterns are cut
and sewn to our exact standards and developed to work properly .We have
made it our mission to create jeans based on both form and function.
We don’t want the jeans to just look great, they have to perform and
last. They will also make your ass look spectacular, and the chicks
will love you.
1955 Selvedge: The 1955 Selvedge is the first style that we made. The
original pattern was based on 1950’s Levis (remember them?) and fine
tuned on two different motorcycles. The fit is a slightly modernized
version of a true American Classic. We use Red Line Selvedge denims
and vary the weight for winter and fall. We make the 55’s in Limited
edition runs of 800 pcs. And slightly change cosmetic details each run.
The fit is narrow and straight with a mid-low rise. The denim is stiff
and dark indigo. For sizing, they’re pre-rinsed and sized to actual
measurements.
HillClimbers: The HillClimber was developed for the Japanese market
in the winter of 2004.The idea was to create a 1940’s style stove pipe
straight leg. The result turned out to be very modern. This is our top
seller at the fashion shops like Fred Segal, and helped us to further
the illusion that we are fashion designers and know what we are doing.
The Fit is a bit on the loose side and with straight legs that border
on boot cut. We slightly roughed up them up with a wash, but not full
of holes and fake wear marks. The denim is dark indigo in color and
a bit lighter in weight than the 55’s. The HillClimber is worn regularly
by the fashion elite.
Double Nickel Boot Cut: This is our second incarnation of the ever so
hip Boot cut. This style was made for the Japanese market as well as
skinny Hollywood guys. We used lighter weight denim for this cut and
gave them a light sanding and softening. The fit is slim at the top
and slightly flared at the bottom. They are not ass crack jeans or bell
bottoms, so they can be worn by adults. The styling is simple and understated
like us.
Pit Crew Jeans: Ever wish that somebody finally made a pair of work jeans for guys who actually work. We based this one on a style made by a great American work wear company who makes their crap in China. We used lighter weight denim and washed them with a bit of softener. We removed the ever present and seldom used hammer loop, and made the fit comfortable. Remember, this is Hollywood, and construction workers on films get catered lunches, so we had to make them look good.
