The Bailey Hat Company was established in Los Angeles, California in 1922 by George S. Bailey. Since the Golden Age of Hollywood, Bailey has been perfecting the art of hat-making and are known for their dedication to quality and craftsmanship, producing most of their line in Italy and the USA. Their hats have been worn by the Hollywood elite since the beginning of moving pictures, and they most recently collaborated with John Malkovich on an exclusive range of hats designed by the actor/director. They create classic styles using the latest technologies, such as Litefelt - a soft, packable wool felt that retains its shape no matter how crushed - and have managed to take their old school style into the 21st century.
